I had the pleasure of staying in the guesthouse gastehaus in a completely new room. There were many tiny details like fresh apples to make the stay varied comfortable. The location is in the middle of the old town and quiet. In the evening we had dinner at the hotel's restaurant. The food was as good as the hotel.

We've eaten at Roll Restaurant on numerous previous trips to Jena, but this time we've stayed at the hotel. It's a nice little hotel in a prime historic and strategic location. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and friendly, and they spoke excellent English, which is helpful for those of us who are disinclined by our lack of German language proficiency. The room was a nice size, was cozy, and had a view of the atmospheric Jena streets. Needless to say the food was excellent Thuringia cuisine. And, of course, there is beer. very satisfying.

We would definitely return. Two great things about a historic 1500 s hotel with a fantastic restaurant. The hotel has a wide variety of incredible gourmet menus spread across the 34 blogs. The employees were extremely helpful. The location is near to the center of town and the Rp station.

I have travelled to Jena for business for many years and have enjoyed staying at this hotel many times. The hotel is small, old world and inn in nature. Food is local, tasty and cheap! Good beer and the perfect place to relax after a day of work. Jena is probably not the most exciting town to visit but I always liked my visits to Zur roll. Looking forward to returning.

I stayed at Gastehaus Zur Roll in July when I was in Jena for a conference. It is conveniently located, centrally, and only a short distance from the historical university! It is clean and tidy. The staff is polite, and there were even goodies in the room for me harbor and apples. Breakfast was delicious, and check-in and check-out went without a hitch. It's also great value for money!. Would highly suggest!.
