We spent two nights here and had a big family dinner here. The place was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the food was delicious. What I particularly liked was the Mediterranean vibe, lovely outdoor spaces, sweet decor inside, and a welcoming atmosphere. I'll come back to Brandon when I visit my family next.

We stayed at Michael Lanelo for two nights with our dog so that we could visit family nearby. Our room 8, which was 8 in every condition, was spotless and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel at ease. We enjoyed a meal in the restaurant both nights, and both were delicious. Their early bird offer is excellent value. I particularly enjoyed the restaurant's decor, and although the outdoor seating could be increased, it's a nice spot for a pre-dinner drink for a brief stay, excellent value for money and a wonderful base. The gorgeous newborn riverside park is very close, and you can soon be in the heart of Newcastle. I'm very grateful to all the staff for a wonderful stay.

I spent the day walking the Hadrian Wall path with two dogs in May. The staff was quite nice and hospitable. The food was superb. Definitely will be back. I will also suggest reserving a table in advance for supper as the evening gets really busy.

We will probably be back in the fall. stayed here for the first time on a stopover in Scotland with our two dogs. The rooms are reasonably priced and the dogs stayed free, which was great. Dinner was served at the restaurant, and the portions were substantial and the food was really good. My husband had the roast lamb with roast, mashed and boiled potatoes, vegetables, and a large yorkshire pudding. The ice cream sundae was also excellent. Breakfast was also delicious and freshly prepared. The room was clean and big enough for the two of us and our dog beds. It was helpful that we could first walk the dogs in a space in the back of the rooms. The staff and the proprietor were hospitable and friendly.
