Highly recommended if youre on a tight budget. Five stars for the excellent hospitality, delicious breakfast, and value for the money. The room itself was simple and tired, and quite warm, with a fan helping you fall asleep. The en suite bathroom was perfect for all your needs. The place is charming, quiet, and almost entirely off the main roads. Fast and reliable internet. Breakfast was exceptional, featuring real indonesian food rather than the same boring omelet or toast that most places offer. Benn, the host, was truly exceptional. He was incredibly kind and eager to share stories. He spoke excellent english and knew the area very well.

Secara keseluruhan, saya harap para dewa dapat melindungi saya dari menginap di tempat tinggal seperti itu lagi. Stafnya sangat ramah, akomodasinya sangat kumuh, kasur busa tua yang sudah usang, perlengkapan yang buruk, kamar mandi dan toilet gelap dengan kebersihan rata-rata, kucing menyebar ke mana-mana, termasuk di kamar, tidak ada air pada malam pertama, hanya 1 pada malam kedua, waktu tunggu 5 jam karena yang bertanggung jawab atas air harus menunaikan salat magrib di masjid setempat, situasinya cukup baik.

Overall, it was a positive experience and i would recommend a place to stay. Benn was a fantastic host who helped us arrange a driver to fetch us from the train station and even to ijen crater. Benn treated us like family and provided us with breakfast after we returned from ijen. The room was also in good condition. There is a guide named chong who was very friendly and welcomed us warmly when picking us up from the train station. The driver who brought us there was also very friendly and patient with us when we had special requests during the trip to ijen crater.

My name is benny! He makes you feel very welcome at his home and is very supportive in organizing tours and helping us find our way around town. He even gave us a lift to the atm. Big thanks to benny, he made our stay here really memorable. Ps its cool to climb over the wall when application maps leads you the wrong way.

Benny is the real star of this place, as other reviews have indicated! Amazing host who you can instantly bond with. When we arrived, he took us to lunch, gave us his bike, and then drove us to the ferry later! He also works in the community, helping to teach the local miners english so they can transition to being a guide. Breakfast was insane. Thank you, benny.
