I booked this place because it is close to yoga barn. Its surprisingly clean, and the owner was very friendly and nice! Love the structure of the room. High ceiling, morning sunlight shines through the roof. I highly recommend this beautiful house! Hair dryer, towel and breakfast included. Remember to bring your own padlock! I highly recommend this place! The best backpacker in ubud! As a solo female traveler, i was looking for a safe, clean, affordable, centrally located and social place to start my 2 month backpacking trip. This was the best spot i could have imagined. Nick was amazing and made me feel very well taken care of. The place itself is cute and very close to all the bustling things in central ubud, but off the main drag so its quiet too! If you plan to stay here, dont make the same mistake we did and book activities through tripadvisor. Excellent stay at sunshine vintage house in ubud. The place is clean, tidy, and in a perfect location near everything you need. Nick and his wife were the best hosts we have had in bali. Friendly, accommodating, arranged for everything we needed while we were there, and washed our clothes very cheaply. Highly recommend a clean and quiet hostel near everything you need.4.8/51 Aug 2024

If youre on a tight budget, this is the spot to stay in ubud. Nick and his family are wonderful hosts who are always willing to help you. The relaxed atmosphere makes it easy to meet travelers and organize tours together, among other things. Excellent location and unbeatable value for your money. Best hostel in ubud. There are two eightbed dormitories, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. I stayed on the first floor. The beds were very comfortable with a lovely pillow, cotton quilt, shelf, light, and socket. Black blind for total privacy and a good nights sleep. The air conditioning in the room was super hot. Our bathroom was next door. Very modern and very clean. The showers are very good. The lockers are in the bathroom so no one gets disturbed when someone packs late at night or early in the morning. If you want to use the pull up table in the bathroom for packing, there is a pull up table for packing. The free breakfast is so delicious, try the banana toast and banana pancakes! You can help yourself to coffee, tea, and water refills. Laundry service is great, quick and at a great price. Nick is amazing and will arrange anything for you from best money changers, local food recommendations, and he has a great selection of tours.4.8/56 Jun 2024

The rooms are comfortable, clean and stylish, as are the bathroom and lobby. They offer laundry service and many tours around ubud and bali. Nick is very friendly and goes out of his way to ensure you have a good time. I cant recommend it enough, would definitely stay again.4.8/512 Jan 2024

I stayed for 2 nights and loved this place! Nick and his family were very friendly and helpful during our visit. The common areas and dorms were clean, everything was kept exceptionally clean throughout the day and it was such a pleasant environment. Cold air conditioning, good wifi, privacy curtains and international power points were all great features. The free breakfast was delicious and filling, scooter rental was super easy and affordable and nick even showed us his favorite food at the ubud night market just outside town. 10/10 a must visit in ubud!.4.8/59 Dec 2023

I would highly recommend staying here for your trip to ubud! The owners are the nicest people and will help you with everything you need! Very cheap to rent a scooter from them for a day and explore the island, good free breakfast and great wifi. Everything is spotless and privacy in the dorms when you want it. 10/10.4.8/518 Jul 2023

I wish i could have stayed longer and will definitely be back soon. Easily the best hostel ive ever stayed in. Nick and his family were so lovely and made my stay very enjoyable. All facilities are clean and the beds were very comfortable, private and quiet with thick curtains you could close. The location is perfect and the daily activities nick runs are always interesting. There are several lounge areas available for you to relax and interact with other travelers, such as a dining table, garden, etc. The hostel is located near the center of ubud, making it very easy to travel to various places of interest in ubud.
