We stayed here for 3 nights and had a great experience. The resort feels very relaxed and natural. I enjoyed waking up to the sounds of birds and crickets. The room felt modern and clean, with a minibar with hot drinks inside and a large terrace outside. The food was consistently good throughout 3 meals per day, mostly local manadonese food and surprisingly good thin crust pizza on weekends. The service was friendly and accommodating. We asked for extra sambal roa at every meal and made special orders for pisang goroho and durian which the staff happily prepared for us. The diving was amazing, especially the wall dive at lekuan 2, where we saw more turtles than we could count and was very lively with fish. Some dive sites were not as good as others, but the best ones were exceptionally good. We mostly went to dive sites around bunaken island, and im looking forward to coming back and try the dive sites at bangka and lembeh. They also have a spa, which is perfect for a massage after a full day of diving. Aside from diving, the team helped us arrange transportation and other activities so you feel well taken care of.

The scuba instructors were kind and patient, especially with me, and i received my padi open water certification at one of the most stunning dive sites in the world. The guests share meals and dive time together, as well as their stories, and they become friends. And the staff, starting with Simone and arjen, are kind and accessible, sharing their stories as well. I couldnt help but feel like one of them, and if i ever get back to thalassa, i will! Strongly advised!.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The service here was simply amazing. Everyone, from the divemasters to the receptionist, took excellent care of us, always looking out for us and being very accommodating. They were all very easy to talk to and did everything with a smile on their faces. As a plus, the food was excellent. The chef surprises us with every meal, so we never had to choose our food. The desserts were particularly creative. Meals were always eaten together with other guests, creating a very familylike atmosphere.

We had a great time at thalassa dive resort manado. The bungalow is very spacious, with a great bed, a separate large salon, and a large outside porch. Most bungalows are located in the center of the resort, so surrounded by nature and away from the road. The pool and pool area are very nice, with lots of sunbeds in the shade. There is some steep climbing, especially from the pool and villas. The staff is very nice and friendly. If you need or want anything, just ask! As for diving, we choose to do the daily 2 morning dives. We liked the dive sites at bunaken and siladen island better than the dives near the mainland. There are enough dive guides to keep the groups small both the guides and boat crew are very friendly and helpful. Due to the limited surface time between both dives, we recommend getting nitrox if you are certified.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very beautiful, the pool is beautiful, the gardens are beautiful, the food is delicious and the most welcoming and helpful staff you could meet. And, there are stunning coral reefs and mangrove forests very close by.

Excellent service! Delicious and fresh food, always accommodating our unique requests like their local sambal, fried banana, and even durian! They are willing to go above and beyond to meet our needs. The entire facility is kept up and very clean. Arjen, the team, and the dogs are all very friendly, and we would love to come back. What we like about their allinone services include hotel, food, transportation, diving sessions, certifications, and fantastic massages! Everything is very well organized and coordinated.

A team of enthusiastic, professional, and engaging individuals runs thalassa, providing attentive service in a fantastic location. Simone, the owner, is a highly informed and longtime member of the local community and has overseen both the development of the resort itself and the establishment of one of the leading dive operations serving the bunaken marine park. The resorts accommodations and service strike a wonderful balance between providing highquality services while delivering in a welcoming yet professional manner. The food is excellent, the pool is beautifully situated, and the resort is situated in a peaceful area near the marine park. Diving is provided to fivestar standard, with highquality equipment and a wellequipped dive boat overseen by a friendly and highly skilled team. The team at thalassa was extremely helpful during our stay and was more than happy to help make our stay enjoyable and our subsequent travel arrangements as convenient as possible.
