I will definitely return, so its a very big wow from me. Fantastic villa with a fantastic view of the sea and surrounding areas. The staff was very polite and professional, and the food was excellent in every way.

Highly recommended. As you wind through a winding road just a 10minute drive from the main nusa dua area, you arrive at this incredible exclusive villa complex. Absolute peace in 5 star accommodation that is in perfect harmony with balinese life designed around the water. The views from the main pool are just amazing over the ocean nestled high on a cliff as you see parts sail in from drifting into the sky. Dinner lunch is made on request as you have a private butler and chef. Just reached heaven the best place in bali if you want peace and couples.

The location is a bit off the main road but still a short shuttle ride to town. The food is great. I loved being in a neighborhood with local people next door. So much better than traveling 36 hours to feel like you are in punta cana.

We spent two weeks traveling around bali and other islands, and shanti remained close by. Recommended for couples. Fantastic personnel, lovely amenities, and the nicest pool weve ever had! A truly wonderful experience. The road to shanti must be repaired, it is undoubtedly the biggest drawback. Everything else was ideal.

Stay at the shanti residence if you want to have a genuine warm and soothing time in Bali. Small, gorgeous resort like staying at a really lovely friends home and caring and thoughtful staff. Staffs are understated but incredibly accommodating, an incredible combination. The shanti is on a bluff, not directly on the ocean. But your perspective allows you to explore a short distance of jungle to the beauty of the Indian ocean. That means it is quiet, except for nature sounds, and fun. With a small number of rooms comes a small number of guests. That's a luxury to me. Don't be offended by the rattled road that leads to the resort. Its not a reflection on the resort, it's just a delay in the public infrastructure. Perhaps the best review I can give is that we planned our return trip before leaving the resort. Thats a high compliment from someone who usually doesn't return to a destination. highly recommended
