About Waenis Sunset View Hotel and Restaurant
Waeni’s Sunset View Hotel is located on the East coast of Bali, in verdant tropical gardens and with Mount Agung rising in direct view. It is 60 minutes drive North of Candi Dasa and just over two hours from Denpasar International Airport.
The drive to Waeni’s Sunset View Hotel is picturesque and takes you along the coastline, through local villages, alongside rice fields and close to many places of interest. The Amed coastal area itself is off the beaten track and is a delight to explore either on foot, by motorcycle or car.
Waeni’s Sunset View Hotel is built seaside on a rock face facing Northeast. The view is truly great of the ocean, sunrise from east and astonishing sunset behind Mount Agung/Batur. We have our private access to the beach with sparkling blue ocean water.
Balmy evenings, stargazing an incredible night sky, lulled by the gentle lapping of waves on the east Bali shoreline. So far away from the bright lights, hustle and bustle - our Waenis Place is a world away.
Amed, with its villagers living as they have for generations, devoted to their religion and delightfully bemused by visitors to their area - smiling faces - free spirits.
Sunrises that are staggering in their beauty, occasionally experienced on a traditional Jukung fishing boat, returning with breakfast in hand - too much fun.
