We will come back soon!. The trip to Cannery Riviera on the mountain from the lake road is not for the faint of heart, but youll soon discover that it was well worth it when you arrive at Villa Morissolina! The 1950 s villa is furnished with antiques and some original mutant glass chandeliers and a bit antiquated, but the rooms are comfortable and we had a large balcony with a fantastic view of the lake. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of homemade preserves with a more german than Italian approach. On each of the three nights we stayed, we had the set 5 course dinner, and Tom used local ingredients to prepare the cuisine that was interesting and unique. The carpaccio of veal with fennel and orange salad, the handpicked wild mushroom and homemade pasta, were particularly memorable. Caroline and Tomas were great hosts, and this was a complete relaxing break from it all stay.

Because of our wonderful visit the first time we booked a group visit for a residential course. The weather was a bit chillier in the evenings, the food was even better, Thomas the chef took into account the need for less salt and the group had vegetarians vegans. And generally difficult to cater for group members. All dealt with with apparent ease.

The location of this hotel is excellent. The staff member is very friendly and helpful. The decor and furniture are really unique.

This villa was run by a bunch of kinesiologists who were with me on a five day course on energy medicine. The place was beautiful, the energy of the place was fine and didn't distract from the nature of the work we had to do. The chef went out of his way to create food that met the idiosyncrasies of the group in terms of diet. For a five star unit, the facilities were excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending this site to anyone for a serious purpose or as a relaxing vacation.

Our goal for this hotel is to have a pleasant and beautiful atmosphere. But it doesn't feel like we have to provide a lengthy description because the food here is fantastic and excellent.
