This guesthouse comes highly recommended! It is situated very close to many temples and historical buildings. The hosts were very helpful, polite and courteous. I was greeted with such hospitality that i felt like i was visiting a family! The room was cozy, clean and quiet. The bathroom was clean and stocked with all kinds of cosmetics and utensils.

Mr. Li is the best host and i had the most amazing stay! He took me and another guest on a tour and saw real geishas and explained what the symbols on the houses meant. He asked if i wanted to go to an onsen and took me there. There are all the amenities you need and they do laundry for free. His demeanor and warmth really made this trip to kyoto special. Its a hike to his place but its literally less than 5 minutes to my favorite temple. I highly recommend going there! Thank you for such a memorable experience!.

The room was cozy and tidy. The guesthouses location was excellent as it was easily accessible by bus from the kyoto station. The proprietor was really helpful in providing recommendations and tips. He also took us on a night trip around the gion area to see geisha and gave us a wealth of information. Its wonderful to have the locals show us around. I dont believe i have ever encountered a host who was so concerned and concerned about his guests.

A really nice traditional guesthouse in a nice quiet part of kyoto. The two owners are very kind and hospitable and will go out of their way to assist you, even taking you on a free city tour! The rooms were nice and spacious and the location was just a few minutes walk from some shrines and tourist spots. They also offer free laundry and provide many amenities such as toiletries.

This guesthouse is run by a family who thought about every detail that could improve the living space and then perfected it to the point of perfection. Its truly delightful. You will have everything you need and everything you didnt know you needed. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to experience their service and especially get a glimpse of their warmth. They put their heart into it and it shows every night when the host charges this little buddy to light up the street.

A guesthouse that feels like home This is a small and cozy guesthouse managed by two amazing people. Li and her husband are wonderful people who always go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The house is less than 5 minutes walk from one of the main temples in kyomizudera and other popular locations in the city located on the east side of the city. The guesthouse is not large but provides everything you need. If you plan to visit kyoto and are looking for a place to stay, come here, you wont be disappointed.

This place is perfect if youre a backpacker like me! This place is so clean, the people are so nice, so close to the kyoto tower, etc. Laundry service is only 300 yen and they return your door the next day. They have everything you need.

The guest house is close to some significant shrines. The bus stop is a 3-minute walk away. It's the first time you enter the alley where the guesthouse is located that you feel like the location can't be good at all because there is a very slight slope over there. But as soon as you get there, you become overjoyed by the chaos. You wouldn't want to spend any time in another place because the proprietor and his wife, who speak English proficiently, are so kind and considerate. I spent three nights here night. As I consolidated my trip to Kyoto. The rooms and home area are tiny, which is typical of Japan, but clean and lovely. I liked the Japanese mattress because I have grown accustomed to sleeping on soft ones. The space was spacious and furnished with anything one might need. There is a refrigerator in the shared kitchen where you can free-use juice or iced coffee. The proprietor is there from the middle until the late night, so guests are there the rest of the day on their own. This was refreshing for me because the walls are too thin. You can purchase earplugs. I used them and slept like a child. The restroom and bedroom are both spotless. There are all kinds of shampoos and other itineraries. The proprietor took me one night to a breathtaking view outside the city, which made my day.

I would always return. The host is incredibly kind, going above and beyond to assist us, guiding us around the area, and even assisting with laundry. The distance to the bus stop is only five minutes. The room was lovely and immaculate. The shower, toilet, and bathtub were all consistently spotless. He and his family are incredibly kind. I also stayed in fourstar hotels during my trip, but they werent as flawless as this guesthouse. Truly ideal!.

Definitely a memory for a lifetime. During my entire trip to japan, i had the nicest stay at the guesthouse engawa. I felt at home and at home there. There was everything you needed. The most generous individual i have ever encountered in japan was the owner, li. He was extremely helpful and led the group from the hostel on a tour of the area. You can tell that this individual adores his country and wants to offer his guests the best possible experience. The guesthouse is perfectly situated and wellmanaged. It was the best experience for me to suggest anyone where to stay in kyoto.

I was blown away by the kindness and hospitality i received at guesthouse enchanted. There is no better place to stay for my 16 days in kyoto. If youre looking for a perfect japanese guesthouse with a prime location, a most welcoming and kind family that goes above and beyond every day, and an exceptionally clean and accommodating space, guesthouse enchanted is the place to stay. I highly recommend it for lone female travelers like myself, you will feel like a member of the family. The location is ideal, and you have easy access to many very convenient ways to get around kyoto and kyo station. Over the 16 days, the hosts looked out and recommended special local activities, festivals, and lesserknown areas of kyo. They took me on a night tour where we saw geisha, a local sento, and drove me to the airport pickup location. The host is very knowledgeable and passionate about kyoto and its history, it sometimes feels like you have your own private tour guide. If you want to immerse yourself in kyoto culture, this is where you should stay. After staying at other guesthouses in japan and kyoto, this is a gem among so many wonderful options.

I had a great time at this place! When it was 11 p. M., the proprietor patiently waited until i arrived an hour later than i had anticipated. My time there was incredibly comfortable. Like with all other accommodations in japan, the guesthouse is modest but immaculate and equipped with everything i needed. The proprietor was incredibly cordial, witty, and accommodating. He suggested dining options, photo spots, a hot bath, shopping, etc. I also relished engaging in thoughtful conversations with him about politics and everything else relevant to japan. Additionally, the fact that he spoke both japanese and english fluently and fluently, as well as fluent in japanese, which made my stay enjoyable and simple!.

The hostel is new and very clean. The host and hostess are very friendly and helpful. They will do their best to make you comfortable. The price is reasonable. Great location, easy access to everywhere.
