Highly suggested. This is the ideal location to work remotely! Takakosan makes delicious Okanawan food with ingredients from salami, including greens she takes off the mountain and fish from the bay just outside. Shes a genius cook she created a special and delicious meal each morning and night for the three weeks I was here. The rooms are cozy and have snorkeling equipment, beach sandals, towels, shampoo, and a friendly cat. The guesthouse is in a hamlet over a hill from the main town, making it accessible to more remote and peaceful shorelines of the island. Takakosan can advise you on the best locations for snorkeling, stargazing, diving, and more.

I really enjoy my stay here. It is located in the center of the island, next to a beach. The house is traditional but has so many cute details. You can find everything you need here, including a very lovely and beautiful cat waiting for your love. The mother makes some amazing cuisine. I highly recommend this place.

The staff here was very kind and helpful, especially Takakosan. And then there was a typhoon that had my stay stopped. After that, their location was very convenient so we could move around very easily.

Between September and January 2023, my two friends and I spent our winter vacation here. The island is beautiful and tiny, you can easily walk around all observatories in one day, the beaches are clean, and the water is blue and transparent. As it will enhance your island experience and make it more authentic, I heartily recommend staying at homestay Lucha. The location is decorated in traditional Japanese manner, there are tatami on the floor, futons, sliding doors, and Japanese paintings and figures as decorations All of this truly puts you in a unique, mystical environment. You will have all you require for comfort and convenience in living, clean towels, hot water, a hairdryer, a coffee maker, and a friendly cat named Ku. Also, if you stay at lucha, you must ask takakosan to make breakfast and supper. It is both delicious and a work of art. You can combine several different dishes, each of which has a distinct flavor, to make them perfect together. Takakosan is kind, welcoming, and accommodating, and she was always a pleasure to talk to her. It takes 30 minutes on foot from the lucha to get to the harbor. The beach is directly in front of the hotel if you want to swim. Overall, there isn't a better place to get refreshment of your mind

This is a traditionalstyle japanese homestay with incredibly warm hospitality and delicious food. The charming host is always available to answer any questions you have about the island. Her food is excellent, and the menu is prepared using local ingredients that are all thoughtfully selected. The excellent beverage service is a big plus here. In the late morning and afternoon, there is a lovely variety of juices and tonics available. Draft okinawan beer is the biggest plus, it is refreshing to return to at the end of the day. It is in a fantastic location slightly away from the main town with easy access via a regular bus service. There are two excellent beaches within walking distance. Furuzamami beach is the best beach for salami. There is a lovely, friendly cafe on the beach and everything you need for a relaxing day at the beach. The house can provide all your snorkeling equipment, which is a must for Furuzamami beach, for beach tours. We will certainly return. Without any hesitation. I would advise it.
