The location is also excellent, with spotless rooms and bathrooms. The place appears to be ancient, though. However, there is no strange odor of old houses. The heater and air conditioning are also excellent. The proprietor is also friendly. Just keep in mind that the walls are thin because this is a traditional inn. That, in my opinion, is how things usually are. I havent tried any other ryokans yet, but if one wants to look at old, traditional japanese homes, the walls arent that thick. The toilet is another aspect. The older types of toilets are used ones, where the tank is located above the toilet bowl.

Lokasinya bagus dan dekat dengan metro dan banyak tempat wisata dan restoran. Ryokan Jepang dengan tikar tatami dan sekat kertas nasi. Fasilitas sanitasinya agak ketinggalan jaman dan tidak kedap suara. Sehingga sulit untuk tidur di malam hari.

This is a great ryokan for backpackers and any other type of travernisher. Its a traditional, oldstyle japanese hostel. You will love this hostel if you enjoy japanese culture, even though there is no elevator!.

Saya bisa merasakan suasana ryokan, tetapi ruangannya agak dingin (selimutnya hangat) dan kamar mandi, kamar kecil dan toilet terpisah, jadi tidak nyaman. Namun, pemiliknya ramah dan berbicara bahasa Inggris, jadi tidak buruk.

タイムスリップ感満載のお宿です。お値段も安く長期滞在に良さそうです。お掃除もきちんとされていて、何より窓や戸のデザインがひとつひとつ違うので見てて飽きないです。修理できないものが多くて大変だと管理人の方（経営されてる方？）が言われるのも納得です。アメニティは少ないので、リンスと歯ブラシ、パジャマは準備必須です。通りを行く人々の様子を窓辺から感じられるのも又よし。昔は家の外と中が近かったなぁとノスタルジーにひたりながら畳に布団で熟睡しました。

i have stayed here several times and its always a pleasure. since my last stay the heating systems have been updated, so its just as pleasent winter as in summer. satoshi who runs it is very accomodating, and has excellent local knowledge. it is a very old building, so that is reflected in state of it, but its very comfortable, and a very reasonably priced way to stay in a tradional ryokan in a great neighbourhood

We Loved our stay at this Ryokan, we stayed over a week bc the location was great & value was outstanding we ended up enjoying it so much we will definitely book there again in future ! They had video games & books in common area, places out front for bike parking, and tons of things to do & eat + Ginza line minutes away

싱글룸을 이용했습니다. 시설이 많이 낙후되어 있고, 건물이 오래되었으나 도쿄에서 이 가격에 프라이빗한 숙박 찾기는 매우 힘들었기에 만족스러웠습니다. 역에서 아주 가깝고 집근처에는 편의점과 마트, 돈키호테 등이 위치해 있습니다.

オーナーさんはとても親切で気さくな方です。雨が降って来た時傘を貸していただきました。共有スペースにはファミコンが置いてあります。とってもレトロな雰囲気で楽しかったです。また浅草に来たときは泊まりたいと思います。

It satisfies me living in old traditional japanese stlye room, near subway and crouded area , convenient transportation from and to airport. House host is so nice and hard working! Although the house is old, but very home like. The host cleans environment every morning , especially the shower room, toilets, comforter and bed sheets, only by himself ! Very impressive! i will definately book again for next stay !
