We stayed as a group of 3 women and I had to say I felt a little shaky. The premises were really worn out and pretty dirty from the beginning. The location was excellent, but that was it. No keycard or ID was required as soon as we entered the building and anyone could have walked in. The beds were good, however the balcony and bathroom bugs in the shower were very dirty and we had to ask for towels. On numerous occasions various staff members walked into our room without even knocking, to empty the bins or drop us toilet paper etc. A few hours after we checked out we went back to collect our bags from the shared room where they were locked away. We were given the key to go up and collect them ourselves, in which case we could take anything from any other bags in there. On arrival I was told only the staff could access this room. Overall felt uncomfortable staying here and despite the great price and location there were so many red flags.

A very good location is this hotel. The center of New York. Small walk to many subway stops. If you visit New York, this is the best choice. All the things are friendly, the place is clean, and the room is warm in winter. Hard to find, between McDonald's and Wendy's small door. Time Square is 12 minutes on foot from Central Park 4 corners. Restaurants are everywhere. All subway. Breakfast was in the kitchen not too big, but free. The bathroom was clean. The room is warm and comfortable. Sometimes needs a fight. Use the elevator, just descend. 2, level. Sometimes the card doesn't work.

The hostel was clean and central, a great place to stay if you're in the city for a few days. The only thing was that it wasn't a very social hostel, there weren't many younger backpackers or social spaces. The front desk staff was very helpful and there was a room to store your bags on check out day.

Over the christmas holidays, I spent an average six nights here. I had a great time, because the location is amazing, with the Central Park right on your doorstep, as well as excellent transport connections that are readily accessible to navigate the city. You are also a short distance from Times Square and the Rockefeller Center. The bathrooms were good, and the rooms are rather spacious, spotless, and spotless. Also, the internet connection was wonderful, and the rates were fair. Your background, life, and other details were well taken care of by the staff, who were really kind and interested in your situation. In fact, I intend to make a flight to New York in the near future.
