Why we've chosen Marriott Waikiki Beach Hotel and Spa for 2 years in a row as our top favorite hotel and spa in Oahu!! What We Did: We booked through Expedia and chose a Jr. suite which wascorner room with two queen beds overlooking beautiful Waikiki Beach. Expedia also arranged a Tesla rental through Budget/Avis which was such a fun first-time experience for us. We enjoyed dining at all of the Marriotts hotel restaurants - it was so relaxing to order food and bring it back to our room to enjoy on the balcony with the ocean view. The nearby ABC Store was incredibly convenient for everything we needed, from quick $10 sushi lunches to fresh fruit every day. We also loved all the fresh poke bowl and acai spots on nearly every corner - clean, healthy, and delicious. Every morning, we watched the sidewalks being power washed to perfection, and even got to see the Hawaiian crews trimming the towering palm trees high above the streets. One of my favorite experiences was spending a day at the hotel spa, where I had a wonderful hot stone massage that truly helped relieve my lymphedema discomfort. Another thoughtful touch - the hotel surprised our graduate with a beautiful box of graduation chocolates, which meant so much to us. Thank you to Mark, the General Manager, and your entire team for making our stay so unforgettable. You are truly doing an amazing job! This property was wonderful. It was in a perfect location. You could walk to just about anything you could want. The beach was right across the street. Your resort fee allowed for you to take beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards for the beach each day. Additionally, there were fun classes and craft making you could take part in. The housekeeping staff was very attentive. The help desk people were lovely and so helpful. The lobby was expansive, airy, and beautiful for sitting in. Oh and the ADULT POOL! Let me tell you, you won’t know how much you’ve always wanted one until you get to one. No kids being loud and splashing around. It was great! There was a separate family pool though if you are still in that stage of life or have someone else to watch the kiddos for a bit. The work out room was also well outfitted if you feel like getting some exercise in. The meal on Tuesday and Thursday night was delicious if you choose to participate. It was $45 per person, but it is all you can eat, so go hungry!

The hotel was clean and beautiful view of the ocean from our balcony. The pools were beautiful and the staff were attentive. The beach is across the street, so very convenient. Everything we needed was at the hotel making it a very relaxing vacation.

The staff here are amazing! Valet, bell desk, front desk, housekeeping, bartenders, everyone I encountered was so helpful and friendly. Our rooms got cleaned everyday which was amazing and we got a cute scrapbook from Shutterfly as a free gift & my son got a seashell Lei & they gave us a really helpful map of the island & recommendations of places to go. There are so many restaurants and shops inside the resort also within short walking distance. We enjoyed the ocean view from our balcony and loved watching the sunset every night. We were right on the beach which was perfect for my 5 year old, very much kid friendly. Overall amazing hotel & would definitely stay again when we come back to Waikiki.
